Office 2019 is a standalone,permanent version of the Office family.
Unlike Office 365,which is available for annual renewals,you only need to buy Office 2019 once for permanent use on either Microsoft's or apple's operating systems.
Once bought,enjoy for life is very attractive,choose Office 2019?Or Office 365 for regular renewal?
Office 2019:
One-time purchase,permanent use,but in terms of function,there will not be much change.

Office 365:

I just purchased Microsoft Office 2019 from this site. I received the key and entered it on Microsoft setup site. Next I must choose the Country or region. However, the problem I’m having is that the United States does not appear in the list of countries and I cannot proceed without specifying the country. No one will respond on the live chat. Hello, Office 2019 is global key. You only need to select the language to be English and you can use it normally. There is no restriction on the country.

Microsoft has been moving towards software as a subscription for many years as it provides a much larger revenue stream. In that light, I will only be purchasing the stand-alone version for my usage. If they ever force people on to the office 365 product, I will probably switch to Libre Office or Open Office & kiss Microsoft goodbye!
